Markéta Hlinovská (1978) takes a site-specific approach in her project Helium II. Her drawing in the installation won’t include the usual group of animal background players. Instead, it will focus on transforming the gallery space. The key theme is emancipation from gravity, levitation in space, the motif of freedom in a metaphor that contrasts weight and weightlessness. Freedom imprisoned within an exhibition space that imparts imaginary boundaries.
