April 21 – May 23, 2009
Last year the artist Roman Franta (born 1962) completed a lengthy artistic project, The Scurrying Beetle, and embarked upon a new phase, a new theme. This new theme depicts the animal world interconnected with civilization and architecture, and reflects upon life and aspirations which strengthen human individuality. Exaggeration, humour and light irony are all here; these are the essence of Franta's paintings and watercolours. They will be on view at the Havelka Gallery from the 21st of April, 2009.
