The new exhibition by Pavel Piekar with the title “From My Travels” presents mostly drawings (coloured inks, watercolours and drawings with fineline pen). They originate immediately in front of a given motif, and they capture far more than just the sensual enchantment with the moment (Venice reflected in the lagoon, motifs from Kvilda in the Šumava, the sea as a symbol of irrepressible returns to the material).
On the occasion of this exhibition, a catalogue is being published with an introduction by Anita Pelánová.
