Wirelings such as Klubko or Tunýlek are wire lace forms fused into glass. These originally conceived folk drawings — if not outright reliefs — invoke both craftsmanship and the poetic spirit of the Czech countryside. At the same time, the works connect Barbora Křivská’s contemporary, predominantly textile-based practice with glass, the material she originally studied and to which she is now returning after a hiatus.
